The FutureThink Institute out of New York has just released a white paper on how organisations see the future of learning and development. The highlight of its findings are

- online learning will take centre stage over the next 5 years with eLearning (62% of organisations polled will offer it); collaborative training (62%0 and webinars (55%)

- 85% agreed learning will be collaborative going ahead ie it is more likely to be with peers from your own organisation as well as from other non-competitive organisations

- 100% see learning in short time frames "micro modules"

The white paper has a comprehensive questionnaire at the end to assist you in assess where your organisation is currently.
